Music of BMPC

Music That Inspires. Music That Serves.

Inspired is the first release in an ongoing recording project at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, made possible by a generous gift in memory of David Freeman from his wife, Ellen Freeman. David’s lifelong passion for sacred music and mission is at the heart of this multiyear project.

Over the coming years, the musicians and ensembles of BMPC’s expansive Music & Fine Arts Department will be featured in a series of recordings that celebrate the depth and diversity of our musical life. From organ and choral music to other ensembles and collaborations, these recordings offer an opportunity to share the music that inspires us with listeners both near and far.

There is another purpose at the heart of this project, as well: all proceeds from the CD releases will benefit BMPC’s international network of mission partners. In this way, music becomes both an expression of our faith and a means of serving others.
