Advent Harpsichord Series
Gabriel Benton
Tuesday, December 23 | noon | Sanctuary

Take a midweek musical break this Advent season with our Tuesday at Noon Harpsichord Seriesfeaturing performances by local harpsichordists on BMPC’s exquisite Robert Hauptfuhrer Memorial Harpsichord.

Crafted in 1966 by renowned builder William Dowd, this French double-manual instrument is modeled after an original 1770 Taskin harpsichord in the Yale University Musical Instrument Collection. With its rich tone and historical elegance, it offers a rare opportunity to hear early and Baroque repertoire as it was originally intended.

Each Tuesday of Advent, enjoy a peaceful and inspiring musical experience in the serene setting of our Sanctuary. On December 23, we welcome Gabriel Benton for a special performance you won’t want to miss.

Come, rest, and rejoice in the beauty of music this Advent season.
