Impressions
by Lauren Hallquist Anderson
January 10 – February 28
Gallery
Join us on Sunday, January 10, for the opening of Impressions, a new exhibition by artist Lauren Hallquist Anderson.
Through printmaking techniques on paper and textiles, Anderson transforms personal photographs, family history, meaningful places, and the natural world into layered works that reflect on memory, landscape, and human connection. Each piece invites viewers to consider the impressions that shape who we are—the people we love, the places we call home, and the experiences that remain with us long after the moment has passed.
Thoughtful and visually rich, Impressions offers an opportunity to slow down and reflect on the ways art can preserve memory, spark conversation, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and one another.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Lauren Hallquist Anderson will lead a five-week printmaking workshop, Expressive Printmaking Art Class: Hand-Printed Monotypes, where participants will explore the creative process behind her work and create their own original prints. See the class listing for registration and additional details.
Join us as we celebrate this inspiring exhibition and the opening of another season of art at BMPC.
