St. Cecilia's Evening: Staff Singers Entertain

While Presbyterians do not venerate saints in the same way as some other Christian traditions, many churches throughout the world recognize St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, as a symbol of music's power to inspire, comfort, and draw people closer to God. In that spirit, we invite you to a special evening celebrating the role music plays in our lives, both within the church and beyond.
The evening begins with a recital by the BMPC Staff Singers, featuring solo and choral works that celebrate the richness and diversity of the choral tradition. The program will include The Passing of the Year by Jonathan Dove, an imaginative and vibrant work that traces the changing seasons through poetry and music.
Following the concert, guests will gather in Congregational Hall for an elegant dinner catered by Le Petit Chef, with musical entertainment woven throughout the meal. This unique evening offers an opportunity to enjoy exceptional music, delicious food, and warm fellowship while celebrating the beauty and joy that music brings to our community.
