Wendy Cadge, President Bryn Mawr College

Sunday, January 25
11:30 a.m. | Congregational Hall

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Wendy Cadge, President of Bryn Mawr College, for a special presentation at our church. A nationally recognized scholar of religion in public life, Dr. Cadge has written extensively on chaplaincy, spiritual care, and the ways people seek meaning amid change. Prior to her presidency at Bryn Mawr, she served as the Barbara Mandel Professor of Humanistic Social Sciences at Brandeis University and founded the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab, a pioneering initiative supporting spiritual care professionals across a wide range of settings. Her work weaves rigorous scholarship with deep attention to compassion, ethics, and community in contemporary life.

Her talk, “The Spiritual Infrastructure of the Future,” will offer insights from an interdisciplinary research project sponsored by Bryn Mawr College that explores the institutions through which spirituality, religion, and broader approaches to meaning-making are taught, learned, and passed on across generations.

Join us for this thoughtful and engaging conversation.
