Become a Member
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we welcome all who confess faith in Jesus Christ to become part of the membership of our church. Membership is a declaration that you share in the fellowship, work, and witness of this congregation. It doesn’t mean you have it all figured out, but it means you’re willing and committed to figuring it out alongside others here.
As you consider joining us, we encourage you attend an orientation class. Led by a pastor, this is an opportunity to get acquainted, ask questions, and learn more about our church, denominational heritage, and mission. Childcare is available with advance notice and inquirers are always welcome. The next Discover BMPC class will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the Education Building. Register here.
On New Member Sundays, we receive new members by profession of faith upon baptism, reaffirmation of faith, or letter of transfer from another church at an informal breakfast meeting of the Session (governing board) at 9:00 a.m. New members are then formally welcomed during the 10:00 a.m. worship service.
