BMPC offers fitness classes to help you feel better, look better, and meet new friends. Review the schedule and pick one that’s right for you. Some classes offer both in-person and virtual options.

- Repose Yoga: Tuesdays, 9:00 - 10:15 a.m, Gymnasium & via Zoom. This mixed-level yoga class uses evidence-based movement and breath exercises to strengthen, stretch and feel better! - Tai Chi: Tuesdays, 10:30-11:45 a.m., Gymnasium, and via Zoom. This 75-minute moving meditation complements all styles of exercise. Benefits include stress reduction, arthritis management, and balance and coordination enhancement. First class is free, then $20 per class or $60 per month. - Dance for Parkinson's Disease (PD): Tuesdays, 1:00-2:15 p.m., Gymnasium. Two professional dance instructors integrate movement from modern, ballet, tap, folk and social dancing to engage the minds and bodies of persons with PD and their care partners, creating an enjoyable, social environment for artistic exploration. All classes include both sitting and standing sequences, and all are accompanied with music. Persons with PD pay $5.00 per class; care partners attend for free. Proof of vaccination required. - Yoga206 Bone Boost. Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m., Gymnasium. Bone Boost is a one-hour in-person all-levels mat and chair yoga class that focuses on bone strength with adapted, safe poses. Class is open to persons aged 50 and over who are pro-active about reducing bone loss or those diagnosed with medical conditions resulting in bone loss, such as osteopenia or osteoporosis.
