We drink from wells we did not dig, and we eat from a bounty of goodness we did not harvest. You love us beyond measure, shower us with grace and patience, and call us into lives of meaning and purpose in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Our hearts overflow with gratitude for countless blessings.
We gather on Thanksgiving Day with friends and family grateful for your astonishing gifts of hope, peace, love and joy. As we feast together, may we be nurtured to share what we have with those who have little, and strengthened to go bravely where you call us to serve among the least and the lost. Help us to respond to your life-giving abundance with glad and courageous lives which overflow with generosity for the world you so love in Jesus Christ. Amen.
