Grants

Our goal is to establish partnerships between Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and our co-workers in the regions and countries where we are privileged to give financial support.

As a church, we want to be more than a funding source. We desire justice for those whom we support and aim to work toward transformative relationships for both BMPC members and our partners. We invite you to join us in this endeavor. The grants we offer include:

    • Outreach Grant: These grants, distributed by the BMPC Outreach Committee, are available for organizations located and serving in the Greater Philadelphia area. Deadline for Outreach Grants for 2025 is October 25, 2024.

    • The Eugene C. Bay Fund for Urban Ministry: The Bay Fund primarily seeks program/project applications that directly focus on the enhancement of the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual lives of children and youth.  pdf DOWNLOAD (255 KB)  this document for a full list of criteria and an explanation of the application process. The next grant cycle will begin in January 2026. 
    • Worldwide Ministries Grant: These grants, distributed by the Worldwide Ministries Committee, are available for organizations located and serving outside of Greater Philadelphia.     • The Richard Shaull Mission Grant: The Shaull Grant provides funding for new projects at their inception and/or for remarkable mission leaders around the world (but not in the Philadelphia area).   pdf DOWNLOAD (250 KB)  a full list of criteria and application process.   document DOWNLOAD (33 KB)  the 2024 Shaull application, which is due on November 22, 2024. 
    • Peacemaking Grants: The Peacemaking Committee offers small grants ($500-$1,000) in the spring and late fall. They support local, national and international organizations that promote peacemaking and bridge-building.
