Nichelle Lynn-Hennigan, MA, LPC, RYT is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in trauma-focused mental health care. She earned her MA in Clinical Counseling (Trauma Specialty) from Eastern University. Nichelle is co-founder of the private practice at Essence Wellness Counseling with Britni Harris, LPC. She also works as a Behavioral Health Crisis Clinician in the Emergency Department at Main Line Health and is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
Nichelle has been featured on the When Dating Hurts podcast and in a PCACares article on senior mental health. Her background includes seven years at Laurel House, Montgomery County’s comprehensive domestic violence agency, where she provided counseling, facilitated survivor support groups, and managed multiple sites.
Earlier in her career, Nichelle worked in sexual assault and crisis services with Women Organized Against Rape, Lenape Valley Foundation, and the Center for Family Guidance, and has served as a speaker and facilitator on domestic violence education panels. Nichelle is deeply committed to helping trauma survivors find healing, resilience, and practical tools for recovery.
