The BMPC Handbell Ensemble offers a joyful and collaborative way to make music in a supportive, team-based setting. No auditions are required—just a heart for worship, a moderate ability to read music, and a sense of rhythm. Regular attendance is key to the ensemble’s success.

Under the direction of Tori Fisher, the ensemble contributes regularly to Sunday worship services and special events, performing a diverse repertoire that enhances the spiritual life of the congregation.

Currently, the handbell ensemble is at capacity. However, we hope to expand the number of groups in the future. If you’re interested in joining, we’d love to hear from you and keep you informed about future opportunities to ring with us.

Our Handbells

BMPC is blessed with two full five-octave sets of Malmark handbells (C3–C8), totaling 61 bells per set. These bells are:

  • Crafted from high-quality bronze
  • Known for their resonance, clarity, and durability
  • Housed in custom-designed carrying cases for safe storage and transport

We also use a two-octave set of handchimes (G4–G6), made of lightweight aluminum. These chimes offer a softer tonal option and are great for both ensemble and instructional use.
