Nicole Duran is beginning to wind down her work with us at BMPC as our Temporary Supply Associate for Adult Education and Mission. We will celebrate her ministry among us in worship and at a reception following the 10:00 service on Sunday, May 10, in the gymnasium where the Confirmation Class’s Windows into Faith (WIF) projects will also be on display.
For nearly two years Nicole has been a good colleague on the pastoral staff and friend among the congregation. She has enlivened Adult Education with new and creative offerings around a central theme and broadened educational offerings during the week as well as on Sundays. She has brought new insight to our Outreach and been a good friend among our mission partners as evidenced by the recent, successful Worship Walk into downtown Philadelphia - stopping at Presbyterian churches along the way and claiming our close proximity to the city. She has led our Worldwide Ministry efforts with renewed energy for better connecting to our global mission partners.
We are deeply grateful for Nicole’s many gifts she has generously shared with this congregation during this interim season, for the involvement of her whole family in our ministry, and for the way she has touched the lives of many. Please plan to join us on May 10 as together we give thanks for Nicole and her ministry.
