Our most important beliefs are those we share with other Christians and especially with those who look to the Protestant Reformation as a renewal of faith. Presbyterians believe that God alone is Lord of the conscience and that it is up to each individual to understand what Christian principles mean in his or her life. We believe that individuals may come as they are to grow in relationship with God.
Some of the principles articulated by the Reformer John Calvin in Europe during the 16th century remain at the core of Presbyterian beliefs and can be found here.
