Bryn Mawr is so fortunate to not only have such an active and talented Sanctuary Choir, but an equally vibrant Summer Choir! While many churches go without choir anthems and choral support through the summer months, BMPC’s loft is filled with former, current, and potentially new choir members all summer long.
Join us any Sunday between June 14th and September 6th – we begin at 9:00 a.m. with a few simple warm-ups, review the morning’s hymns and choral Amen, and then spend most of the rehearsal preparing the morning’s offertory anthem. Our varied repertoire this summer features works by Johann Sebastian Bach, César Frank, and Gabriel Fauré, among others. Longtime church and choir member, Sandra Stouffer, directs the group for one week in July and during most of August; I’ll direct for the other Sundays.
