This coming Thanksgiving the Youth Ministry is hosting our annual Thanksgiving Day Breakfast! From 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day all are welcome to come and enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes in Congregational Hall for $5/person or $20/family. All proceeds go to support the youth ministry in the coming year, including our summer Mission Trip to Peru in 2024.
Each year, Congregational Hall fills up with BMPC members of all ages on Thanksgiving Day for the Pancake Breakfast. Youth make plain, blueberry, and chocolate chip pancakes to order and also provide fruit, turkey and pork sausage, along with coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Meggin Capers, Youth Ministry Council Chair, says the Thanksgiving Pancake Breakfast is a “great opportunity for not only our youth to serve the community, but a time for college students & 20-somethings to reconnect, see old friends, and understand they will always have a home here at BMPC.”
Peter McConnell, 10th grader, says that the breakfast is like a “thanksgiving dinner… a time when the church family comes together from near and far.” It’s also a great way to get folks out of the house on Thanksgiving Day and a phenomenal opportunity for multigenerational fellowship. I have fond memories of each year of the Thanksgiving Pancake Breakfast, of generations sitting together in gratitude for all the good from the past year.
Consider this your personal invitation to the Thanksgiving Pancake Breakfast. Know we’d love to see you there!
