The Middleton Center for Pastoral Care and Counseling - encouraging restoration and rejuvenation throughout this season.
About The Middleton Counseling Center
The Middleton Center opened in 1999 on the campus of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church with a goal to care for the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of the Main Line community. Through therapy, education, spiritual direction and support groups, we provide refuge and comfort, a place to heal. An open and welcoming place, The Middleton Center invites people from all and no faith backgrounds to enhance the connections between body, mind and spirit. The Middleton Center combines best practices in spiritual and psychological care with a spirit of hospitality. Our goal is to focus on the overall health of the individual, not just the immediate problem requiring counseling. All of our professional services are provided on a sliding scale. All communications, conversations and services provided by The Middleton Center are confidential.
All are welcome to attend The Next Step: Getting Unstuck, a free symposium on Saturday, March 2 from 9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon.
The Middleton Center is a specialized ministry housed at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. It welcomes people from all backgrounds, beliefs and faiths who desire to enhance the connections between body, mind and spirit. Through counseling, educational programs, spiritual direction and support groups, The Middleton Center helps individuals to recognize their strengths and develop skills needed to improve the quality and fullness of their lives.
Through a generous endowment from the John Middleton Company in memory of Herbert H. Middleton, Jr., the Center opened in 1999 to welcome members of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and wider community. The Center is housed in the Converse House, the home built in 1912 for the Rev. Andrew Mutch and his family from Glasgow, Scotland. It is the spirit of home that has abided in Converse House for over a century that the Middleton Center extends to all who enter its door. The Middleton Center provides a welcoming place to come as you are, to bring questions and concerns, joys as well as sorrows, a place to become more fully at home in ourselves, and to find peace in body, mind and spirit.
